It’s a pleasure to photograph owls; such majestic birds. I was lucky enough to find a group of owls in the process of hunting for voles over an ancient grassland. Even when an owl had caught a vole, it would continue to hunt to catch a second.
There are always disputes amongst the group which will involve a dominant bird “attacking” another to ensure an area is free to hunt.
